Digital dentures are an exciting new development in the world of denture fabrication.   These new techniques can reduce your wait time for dentures and give you the custom fit that you want.  Currently, dentures can take up to 3 or 4 visits.    Digital dentures may reduce those visits down to 2 visits reducing your wait time.

How are these dentures different?

Dr. Lipscomb uses hi tech 3D scanners to read the shape of your mouth, and he can even scan your existing denture.   Do you love your current denture?  This 3D technology will allow us to create a close copy of your existing denture.  It is always a good idea to have a spare!

There are two types of digital dentures, the first is a milled denture, and the second is a 3D printed denture.   The milled dentures are made from a solid block of denture material.  This material creates a very strong denture for you that will last a long time.   3D printed dentures will be used when time is of the essence, and you need a denture quickly.    The denture will be designed with a 3D software, and created using a 3D printer.
