All Porcelain Crowns

Many crowns with a metal base can show a visible dark line. Consequently,at Jason T. Lipscomb DDS , we use crowns that are made of tooth colored material.  Our patients love these crowns that have no metal substructure and can be used to replicate the natural look of teeth. These highly esthetic crowns can even be used in the front of the mouth to recreate a natural look. Advances in materials have allowed these crowns to very strong and durable while not comprising in appearance

Porcelain Veneers

Want to improve your smile without large preparations on your teeth? Veneers may be the answer! This is a very conservative treatment, and in many cases requires very little preparation on the natural teeth. The veneers can help bring a natural youthful appearance back to your smile. Improve the shape of your teeth, change the color, and improve the overall appearance of your teeth with veneers.

Metal-Free White Fillings

Dr. Lipscomb made the transition to white “tooth colored” composite resin fillings several years ago. It is noteworthy that these fillings look more natural than dark silver colored restorations and allow the doctor to recreate the look of mother nature. Composite resin fillings allow for more possibilities to restore teeth with adhesive properties. Many patients are concerned about the content of some filling materials, and these composite materials do not contain ingredients like mercury.

Orthodontics

Dr. Lipscomb has completed training in both conventional orthodontics and Invisalign therapy. Perfect your smile with minor movement or more comprehensive treatment. Many adults opt for the Invisalign therapy to correct crowding, spacing or alignment of teeth. Short term options like Invisalign express can reduce costs for simple treatment.

Dental Implants

One of the greatest developments in dentistry over the past decade has been the use of dental implants. Missing a tooth or teeth used to require loose fitting dentures or bridges that required anchorage to healthy teeth. Most of all, Dental implants allow options for replacing a single tooth or multiple teeth with solid anchorage. You will love the fact that a single missing tooth can often be replaced with an implant, giving an esthetic, functional outcome. Only the dentist will know! Other patients suffering with loose fitting dentures can receive multiple implants to greatly improve the retention and fit of those dentures.  Learn more about Dental Implants on our Richmond/Fredericksburg Dental Implant page.

Dental Sleep Apnea Therapy

Many of us know of someone who snores. Many people overlook as just a mild annoyance, but snoring can be a sign of Dangerous Obstructive Sleep apnea. Many people who snore have their airway blocked or obstructed while they sleep. Furthermore, this can cause someone to stop breathing and have reduced oxygen levels. Doctors have linked sleep apnea to heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure and even erectile dysfunction. Most of all,  this dangerous disease can also disrupt healthy sleep and leave a person constantly tired. Dr. Lipscomb can work alongside sleep physicians to improve the symptoms of sleep apnea with dental appliances.
