I am an adult with pretty bad dental anxiety which had kept me away from the dentist for ~7 years. While I wouldn’t say the doctors and staff at Shockoe Dentistry have completely cured that, they definitely have gotten me comfortable with seeing a dentist again. I’ve had to have a lot of work done due to my neglect and everyone has been very patient and gentle and understanding. Can not recommend enough, especially if you work at or around VCU since it’s a quick walk or bus ride down Main St.
